Celiac Disease Family Support Group

When you are first diagnosed with Celiacs Disease, it can be very overwhelming.
I quickly found out that I couldn't do this alone. With the support of my husband and the  Celiac disease family support group that I am associated with on facebook, I have been able to get a better understanding of why I have these symptoms, help others who have just found out, share and learn about new gluten free products, you name it.

Support groups are a great thing to get into because it helps you realize, you are not the only one who is having these issues and who has celiac disease.

I would like to share the link to the support group that I am actually apart of. Who knows, maybe you'll find it helpful too.

Gluten Free Watch Dog

This wonderful website actually investigates gluten free food to make sure it is safe for consumption for people who either have gluten sensitivity or for those who have celiacs disease.
These guys have investigated and looked into General Mills gluten free cereal and just as of recently, been looking into Aldi's granola bars which apparently have malt (derived from barley) in them.

For all of you that are still questioning why our bodies go crazy when we accidentally get glutened,
this article explains just that.

It can be very confusing getting a basic understanding of how our body works with celiac disease
but the best thing you can do for yourself is become well educated.

Gluten Free Therapeutics brings us this wonderful explanation and on top of it, has some pretty good looking nutritional supplements you might just be interested in.

This website is just down right amazing. They have so much information packed into one website, it is seriously ridiculous. I am actually apart of their forum and have gotten a couple questions answered on there.
If you are new to the gluten free lifestyle, I definitely recommend checking this website out and joining their forum.

Fill out my contact form on my home page if you'd like to be friends on this forum.

19 Foods That Cross- React To Gluten (Great Article)

Since going on a gluten free diet, I have had periodic problems still, that consisted of bloating, gas, constipation and so on. A friend of mine sent me this link and I found it to be very interesting.
I think I might message my doctor to find out if they have any testing at our Fairview Clinic to see if I have any cross reactive issues.

IF YOU ARE STILL HAVING GLUTEN SYMPTOMS AND ON A STRICT GLUTEN FREE DIET, THIS MIGHT BE YOUR PROBLEM.
